Little Red Stocking

Brrrrrr very chilly today, don't know about stockings but definitely need my thermals on! Hope you are all toasty and warm. I'm really enjoying making more christmas decorations. But I'm rubbish at all the organising and preparation as I struggle with writing lists and Christmas cards. I need Santa's little helper to come and sort me out LOL!

More of a traditional stocking, made of red linen. Using my favourite TAP and one of my fave wooden stamps from stampa rosa. The image is coloured with my zig photo markers as they work fine with archival ink.

Big big apologises for lack of commenting hope to put that right later today, and a big thank you for all the lovely comments you have taken the time and trouble to leave me.

Have a lovely crafty day!

xx

P.S. Once you are finished with your Little Helper please send him my way as I am in need of help - to think I started in July!!!!

Dear Paula, your beautiful red stocking is so sweet with that lovely childs image, and the bow.
I also make one list after the other, forgetting and changing all the time!! :-)

I feel like one step forward and 2 steps back these days, I really wish there were 48hr a day to get all my Christmas things done.

Paula, how do I begin to thank you for sharing this beautiful stocking and image! It is a tradition at my home that anyone who will be spending Christmas Eve or Day with us gets their own handmade stocking filled with goodies! I am sure that I made that rule some thirty years ago as a wide eye 21 year old with creative energy to burn!

Well flash forward 31 years, and you find a willing creative spirit, but the body is not what it use to be back in the day. I am just home from a five day hospital stay when I found out that additional family and friends will be joining us that day. Yeah...(I say a bit overwhelmed). With your permission, I am going to pick up a few ready made stockings, and then stamp a lovely image, complete with a bit of color as you demonstrated on a piece of fabric and stitch it on to have it transformed with the intention to be a bit more of a personalized gift....whew, you are my Christmas Angel!!!!
Thank you for the inspiration that allows my "little tradition" to continue!
