More sewing from me today. Really enjoying the gentile art of sewing and quilting. My paper obsession has now branched out to fabric. I am in love with the French general collections from Moda as the fabrics have a worn, aged feel to them. The fabrics in this quilted purse are called chateau rouge. It is machine sewn as my hand stitching is not the neatest. I added a little heart charm on the zipper to complete.
I followed this fabby tutorial from Quiltsalott here to make the purse. That's what I love about blogging, such a wealth of resources and fantastic ideas.
Crafty corner is just waiting for the work surfaces and then I will be able to move in and sort out all of my oodles of crafting stuff and get stamping. Me thinks my sewing machine will be moving in too......!

another beautifully made creation - have to say I love a heck of a lot of the different collections Moda bring out....I daren't get in to this hobby, as I could imagine living in a home just groaning with fabric(as well as paper!)
