Mother's Day

Hope you are all enjoying Mother's Day. This is the card I made for my Mother. The main stamped image is from La Blanche and is stamped onto a crackled background using fresco finish paints and then painted with water colours. Still in vintage shabby mode LOL!

Freezing here today, I've reverted back to my sheepskin boots again!

Have a great evening. Will be watching Upstairs Downstairs tonight, not a patch on Downton though.

I'm entering this in the following challenges

My Mum's Craft Shop ~ Mum's the word
Glitter Geeks ~ Mother's Day
Papertake Weekly ~ For the girls or Mum
Creative Inspirations ~ Something for Mum
Sugar Creek Hollow ~ Layers

Thanks for looking & Happy Crafting xx

  20. The stamped bird looks like it was torn from a vintage book. I wondered if that crackle would be worthwhile and you have convinced me that it certainly is, a beautiful finish.
You always create with such an elegant flair.
Yes, I am lucky to own as many Stampsmith stamps as I do. She is a lovely stamp and a nice change from their Flappers (although I doubt if I will tire of them).
