Make My Monday ~ Steampunk, anything but a card

The challenge at Make My Monday is Steampunk anything but a card. I don't own many steampunk stamps as I struggle when I use them to make something that looks  half way decent. But thought I would have ago with some Graphic 45 ones I bought a while ago.

I used a small white fabric purse that I gessoed and stamped (with great difficulty :-D) then coloured with distress inks. I used glue n seal to finish the project but was not happy with how it diluted down the colours of the distress inks & mixed them together. The finished purse is a lot less vibrant than it was because of this. Anyway I added some metal bling to finish.

Hello to my new followers am off to check out your blogs now. XX

Great idea perfectly executed and the colouring is beautiful. Would make a great present for my Godd-aughters - off now to search for fabric purses.

Hi Paula
This is the most stunning Steampunk creation I've laid my eyes upon.
The stamping is perfection and I always love when Steampunk has a feminine twist to it.
This will be in my mind for some time to come.

I think this looks gorgeous, I love the colours, even though you don't think they cam out very well.

I might have to find some of these blank purses, I'm in need of a new one anyway. It would be pretty cool to actually have one that I've made myself.

Hummm I made a comment and then it disappeared.

Apologies if you get this twice. ;-)

I think that your purse looks gorgeous and I love the colours.
