Angel Arch

I'm having a bit of a shabby, vintage phase at the moment as you mught have noticed. LOL and this arch is for  two challenges, Vintage Udfordring which is 'Anything goes' & for the Happy Daze ' Little Black dress ' challenge (which is your favourite product/stamp/technique)

These little wooden arches are perfect for altering. I painted with gesso, then matt emulsion, and stamped the angels & texts with archival ink. Then used distress stains (my latest purchase!!) and water colours & finally my gold krylon to finish.

Very short and sweet as off to watch Downton Abbey!!

Happy Crafting & a big Thank you to all my old and new followers, I'm amazed I now have 70!! XX

It's beautiful Paula, you are so good at stamping on wood! Mine always end up with gaps. x

Adorable images and I love the colours but how do you get the images on a clear background? Do you paint the full piece and then gesso over wher you are going to stamp?

Adorable and perfect. A beautiful piece of home decor. I am a huge fan of emulsion, especially in heritage colours.
Another fan of Downton Abbey!! I cannot get enough of that show, I sit engrossed in the beauty of the clothes, the home, the styling is second to none.

Hi Paula. These arches are so lovely. Beautifully decorated as always. D.A. is brilliant. I love to see the costumes especially the ladies dresses and hats.
