I'm rather obsessed with bag making at the moment, can you tell! I just love all the gorgeous fabrics that are available. I have just finished making these two. The first is a mini carpet bag using the same pattern as I did previously. I have been having a play with TAP. It really is very easy to stamp on and I tried my favourite stampsmith stamp Ophelia, and used archival ink and then painted the image using inktense pencils and transferred it onto a piece of plain canvas, the weave is quite an open texture and it still transferred really well, so it was then I thought about using it on a bag & and entering it for the current Stampsmith challenge which is bags'n'tags
Another pattern I've used before, but this time I liked the look of the autumnal colours of this tapestry style fabric. I'm not really into oranges an browns, but I couldn't resist this fabric. I bought it from dunelm mills they have loads of lush fabrics and most bags only need half a metre of exterior and lining fabric.
Have a lovely day & Happy Crafting. xx

Unbeschreiblich schön, ein richtiges Kunstwerk.

Gorgeous bags!! Did you make your own pattern? this is inspiration enough to make me want to un-pile the sewing machine cabinet. LOL. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely projects with us at the Stampsmith Challenge!!
Paula
You do know you have the most amazing talents, honestly I am astonished every time I lay eyes on one of your bags.
I cannot imagine what it must be like to have your talent. I love bags so to be able to create my own, oh my goodness there would be no room to move in the house as it would be full of bags!
Thank you for entering this bag into our challenge alongside your first entry. You are so supportive of TSC and you show Estelle's stamps off in the very best light.
Wishes and good luck with the prize draw.

I agree with everything Lynne said. These bags take my breath away,

Wow! these bags are amazing! I love Ophelia, she is my favourite stamp but she is on her hols at the moment so that I use other stamps. She has come out really well with the TAP (am loving that stuff at the moment). Fabulous work xxx
