Something Different!

After a rubbishy couple of days. I decided I needed a bit of me time and I wanted to make something for myself. I bought a carpet bag pattern a few weeks ago and set to work. I rummaged around in my fabric drawer and found some suitable fabric and this is the result. It has an internal metal frame so that it snaps shut and will stay closed. This is the smaller version, as there is a larger one to make. So that will be a future project. I thought as no inks or rubber were involved I wouldn't get in a mess. WRONG, I ended up with loads of cotton and bits of fabric all over the floor as well as on me LOL!  It has plenty of room for all my bits and bobs and was really enjoyable to make

Hope you all have a fun day of crafting whatever you are doing. xx

A really pretty bag, style reminds me of a bag my mother had a long time ago, (one of her favorites). I love the colors, very comforting, very calming. I guess that sound silly for a bag, but I look for stuff like that in handbags.
Have a great 4th!
