Fashionable Stamping Challenge ~ Vintage

Well I just had to enter the Fashionable Stamping Challenge seeing as the theme was vintage, it was a lovely surprise to find I had won their last challenge.

I do like these white fabric bags to alter as they are such fun to do! I used mainly Crafty Individuals stamps on both sides. CI- 331, CI- 329, CI- 161, CI- 320, CI- 302 and the Tim Holtz papillon stamp set and a script stamp from curious by design. I gave the bag two coats of gesso and then stamped with black archival ink and coloured with water colours and distress inks followed by a coat of glue n seal. Still having problems with the sealant diluting the distress inks so I think I have to buy some of the fabric paints suggested by Florence.

I added some organza rose ribbon, a pink bow & tassel to finish.

I am entering this into the Lets Ink it up challenge which is Think Pink for breast cancer awareness month
& The ABC Challenge Anything goes.
& Glitter Geeks Challenge Shabby Chic

The stamps on this card are Curious by design, Muse & Crafty Individuals CI- 302

I don't know where to begin with the enthusiastic comment I am about to leave you!!!
The bags get better and better. The way you used the CI stamps is remarkable. I need to track down those bags as you have inspired me. Everything is oozing beauty and elegance. I am quite smitten!
I know you have entered the CI challenge but wish you could enter your bag.
Anyway, I am delighted you joined us again at Fashionable Stamping Challenge.
As for the card, that stamp is so gorgeous, a company that is new to me.
Another beautiful post Paula.

Even more glorious that before, Paula! I am so self conscious having my poor imitation on the CI blog below yours. I have tried to leave a message on there but Blogger is not co-operating but will try again. Your work is so delicate, beautiful, and inspiring,
